A Little Bit about Sweet Camille & her Kitty Caretakers stay at the Bungalow:

“We have traveled  down to Indialantic twice from Staten Island by car to the Beach Bungalow with our kitty Camille.  Rob and Barb are extremely kind and welcoming to all types of pets.

Our Camille is a petite and shy but wonderfully sweet classic tabby cat who never scratches or bites.  She is a rescue cat that was found in a feral cat colony on Staten Island at SeaView, the former tuberculosis hospital where the cure for tuberculosis was discovered.  Camille is a good traveler, quietly enduring hours in the car in her capacious cat carrier. 

She loves the Bungalow, playing with her toy mice and checking out the wildlife outside through the glass doors.  We loved spending several weeks at the Bungalow with Camille. Can’t beat the view of the ocean and the convenient location. Thanks Rob and Barb!”

A Little Bit about Monty Python and his Pup Parents stay at the Bungalow:

“Monty Python “Monty” has lived with us in St. Louis for 12 years.  We found him through an English friend and traveled to Rosseau, Canada to adopt him. He used to bark with a bit of a Canuck accent, but it has faded over the years!

Monty has traveled with us all over the country and makes friends with people at every stop.  He will lay down and roll over for anyone who will pet him. We joke, but it’s true, that in 12 years we’ve heard him play-bark 3x in his life. He’s never barked besides that! 

It is always satisfying to find folks who are open to renting to dogs and their people.  Being able to stay together at Indialantic’s beautiful Beach Bungalows (Coconut Villa) for 2 weeks was a wonderful experience for all of us – walking the boardwalk, walking the neighborhood, discovering Surfinista coffee shop and its friendly staff, meeting other guests, Rob and Barbara.”

A Little Bit about Maggie, Zach & Their Pup Parents stay at the Bungalow!

Maggie and Zach love their trips to the beach and the little slice of paradise they enjoy while staying at the Coconut @Beach Bungalow.  The walks on the beach are some of their favorite times and they  have so much to explore and smell.  When we are at the bungalow they love to go upstairs to hang out on the balcony so our mom and dad can enjoy the awesome views of the ocean and listen to the relaxing sounds of the waves. We on the other hand  like the balcony because we can survey the area for other dogs passing by the bungalow.  
We have made many memories on our trips from the sunrise and beautiful sunsets, the beach pirates, watching the space x launches from the beach, celebrating holidays and birthdays, eating at some of our favorite local spots.  The best part is spending time together just relaxing and enjoying the slice of paradise while we are here.

A Little Bit about Elvis, Abby, Farley & Their Pup Parents stay at the Bungalow!

Holly (Mom) shared this story about their experience:
Farley (8), Abby (3) and Elvis (2 1/2) have been coming to the Beach Bungalow all of their lives as did Bandit, Chandler and Emily who were lost to time over the years. All of our furbabies have loved coming to the Bungalow, as have their humans, Holly & David. Rob and Barbara have always been wonderful hosts and have always helped to make our stays memorable. We and our pups always cherish the times we stay here and the memories we make!

A Little Bit about Paris, Calais & Their Pup Parents stay at the Bungalow!

Sharon (Mom) shared this story about their experience:
I was lucky enough to grow up in Satellite Beach, Florida in the late 1970s. My parents owned the Bali Hai Bar and package store in Indialantic.  I have strong roots in the area, so when looking for a place to rent for my niece’s wedding I was choosy.
First off – location, location, location!  Coffee on the balcony in the morning, cocktails in the afternoon all with a beautiful ocean view. Close enough to walk to restaurants and shops.
Secondly – Dog friendly! We have two gorgeous Standard Poodles, both rescues and after lots of training, they still have separation anxiety.  Our PoodlePalooza was warmly welcomed.
Thirdly – The owners Rob and Barbara (plus their pups Tater & Penny) are FANTASTIC. We hired a dog sitter while we were at the wedding and reception, unfortunately she locked herself out of our villa. Fortunately, I was able to call Barb and get the lockbox code. Emergency situation resolved. In closing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Banana Villa.

A Little Bit about Toby & Bruno & their stay at the Bungalow!

“Toby and Bruno loved it here at the beach. Bruno is 5 months old and it’s his first time seeing the ocean. He was mesmerized by the view! 
Toby is 11 and he loves the beach too and also enjoys the view! 
Bruno and Toby brought their hoomans with them to this perfect Beach Bungalow. 
What a great time at this special place, it is highly recommended for hoomans and pups! Rob and Barb were wonderful and Bruno and Toby wuved them and give them 8 paws up!”

Here’s a little bit more about D’s visit this time around.

D has been to the Bungalow several times now and is quite at home there.  His desire is to always be with his people and the Bungalow allows for that. 
This trip was extra special because he finally made it onto the beach!! 🙂
He was a little scared of the waves but he loved the sand and all the smells. 
He also loves all the friendly people and dog friends that walk up and down Wavecrest Ave. 
His people love this place too and have made many wonderful memories during their stays at the Bungalow.

“This adorable trio, Sawyer, Circe and Sirhc (pronounced Cirque), can be a handful. They love to travel, and this is their favorite destination. The pups recognize the Beach Bungalow as soon as we arrive. We always have a wonderful time and so enjoy being able to have our fur babies with us. Last trip, Sirhc slipped off her leash on a walk and ran right to the door of our villa and waited for us.”

 

 

 

We’re Very Happy to have Hosted Pretty Little Honey & her Loving Mom, Jan.  They traveled all the way from Minnesota recently to stay at the Beach Bungalow!

Honey’s story:

“Honey is a rescue.  I think the first five years of her life were probably not happy. When I got her eight years ago, she didn’t know how to play and had never been on a leash or in a car.
Her life now is a great joy for both of us. We traveled together in a camper van for a few years.  She is a great traveler! When we stop, she gets out, does her thing and is happy to get back to continue the journey.  Honey is still a little shy with strangers, but trusts me and doesn’t let me out of her sight. We have visited Beach Bungalow five times and she loves it here!  As a Minnesota dog, she doesn’t care for the beach, but is happy to sit on the balcony and watch me leave then wait for my return.“

We were Very Happy to have Hosted Cute Little Levi & his Indiana Family – Jill & Carl recently at the Beach Bungalow!

Levi’s Story:

Levi was adopted by us almost 11 years ago.   He was a year old and very hyper!   He could jump so high he was hard to contain with our little outdoor fence.    After lots of training of us as parents, lol, we learned he was just very smart and got bored easily.   So we make sure he gets plenty of exercise and play every day!   He has turned into the best dog and travels with us everywhere.   He even flies on planes and doesn’t make a peep.  He’s part of our family and brings us so much joy and happiness.   We can’t imagine life without him.    He had a great time at the Beach Bungalow and we will definitely bring him there again.
